adav is a partner in EY, leading EY Israel's cybersecurity advisory services and its Advanced Security Center (ASC), formerly known as Hacktics. In his current role, Nadav leads about fifty full time employees, and is responsible for the group's strategy, people, quality, growth and operations. This cutting-edge team is dedicated to conducting security assessments for EY's global clients across all industries. These combine hands-off work, such as strategic cyber risk and cyber maturity assessments, and hands-on technical work, simulating real world attacks on clients' IT and OT environments. The team focuses on designing and executing large scale cybersecurity assessment programs for its clients, using a business risk oriented approach that mimics what an actual attacker would do, combining onand off-site work. The projects include intelligence gathering, social engineering and a wide variety of application and infrastructure penetration testing techniques. The team also provides security training, Incident Response readiness services, digital forensics investigations, and offers a "CISO as a service" function to clients. Prior to joining EY in August 2014, Nadav had 25 years of experience in the Israeli MOD/IDF, 15 of which he served as a senior officer. His technological expertise lies in the fields of cipher, cyber, telecommunications and IT – both software and hardware, commercial products and proprietary design, diverse operating systems, FPGAs and ASICs, from PCs and mobile environments up to clusters and cloud computing, data analysis, big data, and social networks. Nadav is also experienced in large scale strategic planning, resource and program management at HQ level. He created new processes in large organizations (over 15K headcount, budget exceeding USD 600M), including the supporting technological infrastructure, mediating organizational conflicts and advising senior leadership.
